Introduction to Becoming an FIA Marshal or Race Official

Welcome to Motorsport Volunteering

Marshals and race officials are the backbone of motorsport events, ensuring they run safely, fairly, and smoothly. Without their dedication and expertise, motorsport events, from grassroots karting to high-profile races like Formula 1, would not be possible.

This document introduces you to the roles and responsibilities of marshals and race officials and provides guidance on how to join the FIA community through your national motorsport authority (ASN).

Who Are Marshals and Race Officials?
