The International Driving Permit (IDP) is a document that, alongside a driving licence, permits the user to drive in a foreign country. Driving abroad without an IDP could be illegal. This means if you want to drive abroad, you will need an IDP to accompany your valid driver’s licence.

Automobile Association of Bangladesh (AAB) is the only organization authorized to issue IDP in Bangladesh.
